Quality & Certifications

Certified to Standard.

Every product we carry meets the safety, quality and environmental standards that matter in our markets. The facilities behind the range are audited, accredited and re-certified on schedule.

Manufacturing Standards

Three ISO Systems.
Current Certification.

Quality, environment and health & safety management systems, audited by SGS and accredited by UKAS. First certified in 2018, renewed on schedule, current through 2027.

ISO 9001:2015

Quality Management System

Process discipline, traceability and continuous improvement across manufacture of sealed lead-acid batteries. Evidenced by consistent plate quality, cell matching, and batch-level performance records.

ISO 14001:2015

Environmental Management System

Lead handling, acid containment, recycling compliance and emissions monitoring. Lead-acid manufacturing is regulated territory; a current ISO 14001 system is the baseline for responsible production.

ISO 45001:2018

Occupational Health & Safety

Worker safety, chemical exposure control and incident management. The newest of the three frameworks, issued 2018, replacing OHSAS 18001.

Lead-Acid and Lithium.
Verified Independently.

Different chemistries, different duty profiles, different standards. Every product line tested to the framework that governs it.

Third-Party Testing

Audited by Bodies
You Recognise.

We do not grade our own homework. The certifications above are issued, audited and renewed by independent bodies with international accreditation.

SGS

World-leading inspection and certification body. Issues our ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certificates. UKAS-accredited, headquartered in Geneva.

UKAS

United Kingdom Accreditation Service. Accredits the certification bodies themselves. Our ISO certificates carry the UKAS mark, which means they are recognised across the IAF multilateral arrangement.

UL Solutions

Global safety certification. Holds our UL 1989 Recognized Component file for standby battery safety.

CNAS · TÜV Nord

For the lithium line: CNAS (China National Accreditation Service) accredits the internal performance lab; TÜV Nord qualifies external testing. CB certificates issued under the IEC scheme.
